I downloaded the new version of iTunes, and tonight I was innocently listening to Owl City while browsing for film cameras, when I clicked on the iTunes button on the bottom of the screen, and was greeted by images of colorful stars and animated fractals floating and pulsing around my screen to the enchanting beat of the music.

My jaw dropped open.

It's the little things that amaze me.

High School

First four and a half days of high school done. Completed. Finito.

I ate toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much frosting today, so I played with my Pillow Pet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahhahahahahhaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember the first day of middle school, myself being a wide-eyed, buck-toothed sixth grader, head bent up towards the ceiling of the cafeteria in awe, simply in disbelief that I was finally in middle school, in the big leagues, done with the little guys. My carefully picked outfit of brown gauchos, pink t-shirt, and denim vest was a sincere hope to be a big girl now, to take middle school by storm.

Middle school was done in the blink of an eye.

When I'm a senior, and heading off to college, I'm going to remember my wide-eyed, brace-mouthed freshman self scurrying around campus in my gray Einstein shirt, green silk skirt, and rain boots, excited to finally be putting myself to the test of both IB and ROTC. When I am done with high school, I am going to college, and that's it. Game over. Real world, big girl.

Because, before I know it:
